Our featured product of May is: Rhubarb!

Although it is technically a vegetable, a New York court declared rhubarb a fruit 70 years ago. A plant that’s leaves are actually poisonous is only good for its edible stalks which have a bright pink color to them. Rhubarb is very tart to eat, especially raw, that it is often paired with something sweet to complement its flavor. A few of its most common uses are in Strawberry-Rhubarb Pies, cakes, and other delicious desserts.
